Sweet Corol Saeger

Say a prayer for the Saeger family. Their little Corol (from Florida) was born a month after Kayleigh. As Corol fought her own battles in the NICU, the family looked to Kayleigh's journey for inspiration and once Corol was a little older, she would enjoy listening and dancing to Kayleigh's music the her blog.

Unfortunately, this past week as the family took their first vacation together in NC, not to far from me here in Wilmington, they were in a severe car accident and sweet little Corol (2 yrs old) didn't survive.

Jade (Corol's mom) and I spoke on the phone this morning and I just felt the need to share it with you all on FB and to tell you all to take a moment and stop what your doing, just long enough to give thanks to everything and everyone you have in your life. You never know when you will be faced with such tragedy, so never let a day pass without showing the people who are close to you how much you love them.

God bless the Saeger family and all the other families out there who have lost someone dear to their heart. Life is very short when you lose someone you love and life is too long while you miss them and have to wait to see them again.

My heart feels heavy after reading this. It makes me want to scoop my own 2 year old out of his crib & give him a million more kisses. I will keep this family in my prayers & never forget to show my own son just how much I love & appreciate him.

Oh my goodness...she was just precious! I am sorry to hear about her family's accident and her passing but I have to admit, I smiled when I saw the butterfly on her shirt because I know she's up there with Kayliegh. My the Lord bless sweet Corol and her family!

Tears. How tragic.

Oh God, please comfort this family and give them the strength to somehow get through each day at a time right now, as they face life without beautiful Corol. It doesn't make any sense to us at all, but we just know how much we need you. Please surround them all with peace and hope.
Amen.

What a horrible tragedy!!

I pray for peace and comfort on some level for her family left behind.

I needed this reminder today about how precious life is. After a restless night with an 8 month old, and getting overly worked up about it, I then read this story today, and realize how PETTY I was being and how precious life is.

Prayers being sent for Corol's family!

We will pray. WOW how heart braking after fighting for her life as a baby and to come this far and have this happen. I bet Kayleigh and Corol are running and playing like little girls should. Your right life is so short never go to bed mad and always kiss those you love. ((((((HUGS)))))

My prayers for her family and for yours as well.

When I was born, I just weighed three pounds. I now think that was nothing compared to what Kayleigh and others went through.

More power!
