CONT......3:30AM - PLEASE PRAY!!!!!

I just finished posting the last post over an hour ago, so please read that post first. My gut was right, something was wrong with Kayleigh's breathing tonight! The doctors and nurses have moved Kayleigh back to the NICU because Kayleigh's breathing has become erratic, her temperature is dropping and she is desatting. They did a blood gas, but have not gotten those results back. They have put her on the high flow cannula and depending on the results from the blood gas, they may have to put her on the vent.

The doctor's fear is that these are signs that her heart is causing these problems.

Please pray for Kayleigh right now!

God Bless,

The Freemans

Oh, Lord Jesus, I lift up this precious baby girl to you this morning! She and her parents have been thru so much! Please rain your grace down upon them. Pour out your peace, your love, your mercy! Please, please dear Jesus, bring a complete touch of healing to little Kayleigh's body! Help all of her body to come into perfect working order. We do indeed pray that this would be YOUR will to heal her completely and allow her to come home and be the "miracle" child that her Mommy, Daddy and every last one of us are hoping for! We know she is in Your hands, and take comfort in that. We just pray that You, Who are the Great Physician, would give wisdom to the doctors here on earth, and ultimately would just bring about a miraculous healing today! We ask this for the glory and in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour. Amen.
Sending my prayers and love your way, Kayleigh!!!!

Gabriella is only 15 months and when I brought her to the computer screen to see Kayleigh's video she hummed and tilted her head toward mine - I cried even more...she recognizes her own pictures from her 5 month hospital stay as well ( we have a screen saver slideshow) She knows...I just knew when she reacted the way she did at Kayleigh. We used to pray every night in the hospital for all the other babies near and around us so I believe she feels it. We just both stretched our hands out toward the screen at Kayleigh and prayed that Jesus would heal her just as he took care of Gabby...She'll be in my prayers throughout the day, Our love to you all for continued strength,

I saw the post last night and prayed; I am praying even more now. Lord, this tiny miracle has been hope to so many; show your power again in a mighty way. Her life has always been in your hands and will continue to be. Comfort her, heal her, comfort her parents. In Jesus name, Amen

I am in prayer right now as I read this. OUR GOD IS GOOD! And He will bring you ALL peace.

We have lost 3 precious babies all after birth and still I have known HIS intimate peace in the midst of it all, He offers it to all who call on HIM.

I am praying right now for your little miracle to continue growing and responding WELL to her new heart. I am asking God, that you would bring ultimate peace to this sweet family and help them to CRY out to you in the MIDST of the uncertainty! Bring Kayleigh to a place of ultimate healing so that she may come home and flourish as only a daughter can in the presence of her parents.

Thank you Lord that you have brought her this far! AMEN

God, you have brought us all this far in the journey of one of your miracles.

Please stretch out your loving arms and hold Kayleigh safe in them that she may continue to teach us the power of faith and prayer in this little one.

Please do not take this little one home to you, but leave her here with us to remind us of your love.

We are praying for Kayleigh's breathing to come back to normal so she doesn't have to work as hard at it and can rest and recover from her surgery. I feel the same way about Babies R Us, I always had a gut feeling that something wasn't right and Gavin was going to come early, I just didn't feel right registering for him like it was to good to be true.
Once Kayleigh is home you can shop till you drop at Babies R Us until then I would just shop elsewhere. Get well soon Kayleigh!

I am so sorry to hear that there are worries in your heart and that Kayleigh is struggling some. I know with our little one that we had the same setbacks when she was just about to come home> was so glad it happened in the hospital and not in my home. Hannah, our little one started to do similiar, she was on full feed for three days.. and breathing was fine, then she started to desate a whole bunch all night and at one point did consider vent for a bit. They put the feeding tube back in. they also had to resume caffine ( am not sure if your little one is on this but it was what Hannah took to stimulate the brain to remember to breath,) they put her o2 settings up and gave her some laxics to make sure her lungs were ok... Four days of rest and kangaroo holding and no feeds by bottle... she came off the o2.. (which was a miricle and understand that both our girls have there own struggles) and returned to full feeds and went home 3 days there after. I hate the rollercoaster rides of the NICU, but as you have even stated it is having her ready to be home that is the most important, I would rather have her there with doctors and nurses and home when that kind of care is not needed.
I will pray she gets through these trials that have been given to her and your family. She just may need some time. lots of love and prayers for her to be healthy and ready to go home soon...

I came across Kayleigh's blog quite a few weeks ago and something about her just captured my attention. I do not know you or your family Miss Kayleigh, but I do know that you are touching so many people and changing their lives. You have a fighter's spirit and I am praying for you today and always that you will overcome the obstacles before you now and in the future. I pray for your family as they have been through a lot even prior to your birth and they need all of the strength and courage that God can give them to care for you. As a pediatric nurse practitioner, I must also say this to you Adam and Aimee - ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS listen to your gut feeling when it says something is wrong with your daughter. NEVER allow anyone to dismiss your concerns. Parents know their children better than any healthcare provider could ever hope to. Also, thank you for allowing all of us to experience this journey with you. It makes me appreciate everyday even more when I realize how touch-and-go life can be. My prayers and best wishes are with you.

Love, Jen
