Kayleigh - IN THE NEWS

Here are both clips in case you didn't catch them today. The first one was on MSNBC (National) and the second was on our Local NBC Station (WCNC). If you happened to miss the other NBC interview from last week, we put that one on her for you too.

MSNBC-This was recorded off the TV as there was not a link for the video, so forgive me as the audio is not as clear.

WCNC- We recorded this right after the live MCNBS interview.

WXII- Interview we did last week at the hospital with the NBC News Crew from Winston-Salem.

God Bless,

Seeing you say that you guys are still spending so much on insurance made me want to ask, are things moving along to get Kayleigh onto SSI?

Aimee and Adam said...

Emily, Yes - SSI, Medicaid and another form of Medicaid for when Kayleigh comes home and needs a in-home nurse.

All the money is not only on Kayleigh, it is the whole family, but we need it so we don't lapse on it.

Thank you so much :)

i am wondering if you guys of have thought of doing any side jobs while the market is down for insurance? I worked at home company that does have some home jobs and I get full benefits.

http://acs-inc.com

go to your state and look for in home jobs.(data entry...very little experience needed.)

or UPS...they have great insurance as well.

I think you guys are amazing parents. I am glad you are going to get help from medicaid for Kayleigh! she is BEAUTIFUL! I LOVE SEEING VIDEOS OF HER AND NEW PICTURES!

Aimee,
I emailed you a month or two ago about the possibility of doing a fundraiser with Arbonne. Arbonne is a network marketing Swiss skincare company that offers an amazing home-based business opportunity. If you are interested in learning more, I'd be glad to share more with you. There is also a lot of info on our website www.arbonne.com.

I have submitted your story and a blog link to my local news station, WIS in Columbia. I hope your story continues to spread like wildfire!!!

Oh my goodness. I need a box of tissues. I know you guys aren't looking for sympathy and such, I just hope that Brad and Angelina were watching MSNBC or something.....

I'm from MN and in our state there is a program that helps pay your mortgage for families in the NICU.

http://www.sparekey.org/

I have no idea if there is a program like that in North Carolina. I'm just trying to think of ideas. If I had extra money i'd give it all to you.

I'm praying every night for you guys. I'm so happy to hear that Kayleigh can [hopefully] leave the hospital in a month!!! WOOO HOOOO!!!!!

Great job you two! It felt weird seeing you on a national TV program. Good luck on the job interview Adam! I know that you are getting advice from all over the place right now, but I am working with a great insurance agent & she has already lowered our insurance costs for Rich & Tyler almost $150.00 a month. It couldn't hurt to see what she might could do for you. Let me know, I will forward her info. Love you guys! Talk to you soon!

Second interview definitely better than this a.m.! Not cause of anything you did but what you got to say in the second one that you didnt in the first. The fist one was kinda rushed and the interviewer was kinda rough around the edges. I still think you should enter the contest with Kathy Lee Gifford....completely different vibe! More about faith and touching lives than the news people trying to turn it into the mortgage crisis. Anyway, you both were great as usual and anything you do is great. I love when you say God only gives you as much as he knows you can handle. I am passing this to my friend who just had a miscarriage today.

Love.

Adam & Aimee,
You guys are awesome. Great job with the interviews. I know how hard it is to swallow your pride and share with everyone your problems. I thank God everyday for the example that you guys are. You are living proof that if you put all your faith in God, great things truly happen, even miracles. KAYLEIGH. She is getting so big. She's adorable. Sorry Adam, but she does look just like Aimee. I can't wait to follow along once she makes it home. Thank you so much for all you've done spiritually for me and my family.

I wanted to add that there is family medicaid coverage available. When my preemie was put on medicaid they took a application for the whole family. It might be worth looking into for the other children.

Greetings from Tallahassee, FL! I have been following your Blog for a few months now and see what an inspiration your story is. I had a still born daughter in 2007 that weighted the same amount as Kayleigh. God then blessed me with twin girls who were a whopping 1lb 11 oz and 2 lbs 7 oz. They were born 18 weeks early and had to fight very hard to be able to come home. Keep your heads up and know that God is with you at all times. I continue to pray for Kayleigh and your family. Thank you so much for your story and I will be sharing it with my children when they are old enough to understand how AWESOME God really is.

Thanks again!

There is no doubt in my mind that the Lord has provided and will continue to provide for you! I can't even begin to imagine being in your situation, but the Lord knows because He walks it with you every moment of every day! Praying for you guys!!

Beautiful you guys! Aimee, I don't even know what to say. You could just feel the love you have for your daughter and hear it in your voice. It was very moving, so much in fact that one of my friends came to me with a great idea for our next plan to help you guys a bit. I'll email you the details later! Adam you did a wonderful job as well! You didn't seem nervous at all!
I don't think you guys have gotten to take a step back and look at how you've impacted so many people's lives. When things have calmed down and Kayleigh is over all the major hurdles, I think you guys are going to look back, say WOW, and be really proud of yourselves and your amazing family. I hope to see that day real soon! Love the Nadeaus

Hi Adam & Aimee! I am so happy you posted the MSNBC link. We went out of town super last-minute on Tues, and I set the DVR for your Wed taping before I left (I also taped the hour before and after it was expected to air to be sure I didn't miss it. ;) I sat here scanning through two hours of recorded news before I realized it was postponed a day. So I'm so glad I didn't miss it!

I am so blessed by you guys. You are such a beautiful couple and Kayleigh is so so lucky to have you guys. I am praying that you guys are blessed abundantly and that God has a true miracle in store for you!!

Brother and Sister Freeman,
I give you this Truth as it is written in Psalms 121: 1-8: 1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

God is still in control. I have contacted all the churches and requested prayer for Kayleigh and your family. It is written: The fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

God Bless you and stay strong in the Lord.

My deepest sympathy to the Freeman family. Little Kayleigh is laying in the arms of Jesus with a new body. Thank God that she suffers no longer, along with her family. You are such a strong family. Thank you for sharing her life with us. God has surely trusted and blessed your family with 11 months with his little Princess. God Bless.

Dear Blessed Family,

I ran across your story while I was on my niece's blog which is adventures of an orthodox mom. I cannot believe the STRENGTH your little angel had. And, the STRENGTH that God gave the two of you. I truly believe that God does not give you more than you can handle. And, let me tell you, you both rose above the occasion! Your little girl is constantly looking down on you and blessing you. I will tell my husband who is an Orthodox priest to put you all on his prayer list. My heart was truly touched today. May God bless you with health and well-being.

God Bless, Karen Valantasis St. George Church Massillon, Ohio
