Kayleigh - IN THE NEWS

Here are both clips in case you didn't catch them today. The first one was on MSNBC (National) and the second was on our Local NBC Station (WCNC). If you happened to miss the other NBC interview from last week, we put that one on her for you too.

MSNBC-This was recorded off the TV as there was not a link for the video, so forgive me as the audio is not as clear.

WCNC- We recorded this right after the live MCNBS interview.

WXII- Interview we did last week at the hospital with the NBC News Crew from Winston-Salem.

God Bless,

Seeing you say that you guys are still spending so much on insurance made me want to ask, are things moving along to get Kayleigh onto SSI?

Adam said...

Emily, Yes - SSI, Medicaid and another form of Medicaid for when Kayleigh comes home and needs a in-home nurse.

All the money is not only on Kayleigh, it is the whole family, but we need it so we don't lapse on it.

Thank you so much :)

or UPS...they have great insurance as well.

Oh my goodness. I need a box of tissues. I know you guys aren't looking for sympathy and such, I just hope that Brad and Angelina were watching MSNBC or something.....

I'm from MN and in our state there is a program that helps pay your mortgage for families in the NICU.

http://www.sparekey.org/

I have no idea if there is a program like that in North Carolina. I'm just trying to think of ideas. If I had extra money i'd give it all to you.

I'm praying every night for you guys. I'm so happy to hear that Kayleigh can [hopefully] leave the hospital in a month!!! WOOO HOOOO!!!!!

Great job you two! It felt weird seeing you on a national TV program. Good luck on the job interview Adam! I know that you are getting advice from all over the place right now, but I am working with a great insurance agent & she has already lowered our insurance costs for Rich & Tyler almost $150.00 a month. It couldn't hurt to see what she might could do for you. Let me know, I will forward her info. Love you guys! Talk to you soon!

Second interview definitely better than this a.m.! Not cause of anything you did but what you got to say in the second one that you didnt in the first. The fist one was kinda rushed and the interviewer was kinda rough around the edges. I still think you should enter the contest with Kathy Lee Gifford....completely different vibe! More about faith and touching lives than the news people trying to turn it into the mortgage crisis. Anyway, you both were great as usual and anything you do is great. I love when you say God only gives you as much as he knows you can handle. I am passing this to my friend who just had a miscarriage today.

Love.

Greetings from Tallahassee, FL! I have been following your Blog for a few months now and see what an inspiration your story is. I had a still born daughter in 2007 that weighted the same amount as Kayleigh. God then blessed me with twin girls who were a whopping 1lb 11 oz and 2 lbs 7 oz. They were born 18 weeks early and had to fight very hard to be able to come home. Keep your heads up and know that God is with you at all times. I continue to pray for Kayleigh and your family. Thank you so much for your story and I will be sharing it with my children when they are old enough to understand how AWESOME God really is.

Thanks again!

Adam you did a wonderful job as well! You didn't seem nervous at all!
I don't think you guys have gotten to take a step back and look at how you've impacted so many people's lives. When things have calmed down and Kayleigh is over all the major hurdles, I think you guys are going to look back, say WOW, and be really proud of yourselves and your amazing family. I hope to see that day real soon! Love the Nadeaus

Brother and Sister Freeman,
I give you this Truth as it is written in Psalms 121: 1-8: 1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. 3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

God is still in control. I have contacted all the churches and requested prayer for Kayleigh and your family. It is written: The fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

God Bless you and stay strong in the Lord.

Dear Blessed Family,

I ran across your story while I was on my niece's blog which is adventures of an orthodox mom. I cannot believe the STRENGTH your little angel had. And, the STRENGTH that God gave the two of you. I truly believe that God does not give you more than you can handle. And, let me tell you, you both rose above the occasion! Your little girl is constantly looking down on you and blessing you. I will tell my husband who is an Orthodox priest to put you all on his prayer list. My heart was truly touched today. May God bless you with health and well-being.

Tonight in the small town of Murray, Ky as the digital alarm clock switches over to 5:14, I am sending prayers out to God that even now, you are comforted and held in His merciful, righteous, forgiving, and graceful embrace. May you know what it is to be held by The Lord and may his presence be evident and apparent in your lives and throughout your household. Much like the Virgin Mary, you gave birth to a miracle, a unique child with great plans; a vast blueprint for life that you cannot understand nor comprehend while on earth. God promised there will be no hunger, no sadness, no despair when we are in Heaven, only Joy and an inner hunger to praise Him relentlessly. Look foward earnestly to these days, because they are promised.

I'm 16 years old, My name is Alondra. I'm from Miami, Florida.I was researching about a teen getting paralyzed by a DUI crash and i don't know how but Kayleigh's story popped out by the side of my screen in youtube, after seeing Kayleigh's story, I had to know how she was doing, How her family was, Well her story touched me so much that i had to tell all of my three best friends & My Boyfriend, about Kayleigh's story. But by the looks of the posts, My guess is that god has taken her as an angel.. I love the way that she was so strong, There is adults that aren't the bit strong. But she was, I am so proud that she was. May god bless your family.. xoxoxo

I'm 16 years old, My name is Alondra. I just read Kayleigh's Story for the first time. Its amazing that Kayleigh weighing just one pound then 12 ounces it was a miracle, a truly beautiful miracle. I was so amazed, and deeply touch that i had to tell all three of my best friends about Kayleigh. By the looks of it, Kayleigh inspire a myriad of people. Especially Chole, Who ended up studying as a career, Naeontology. I would be inspired also to study that delighted career, which helps bring life on earth. But my goals are to build a orphanage that at one point if no family adopt a child, she/he will be raised and educated by a private school established and run by me. I have more goals beside that but very similar to that goal also. I love children, even though i have no siblings. I truly did love Kayleigh's story, May god bless your family. And that god has taken an angel..

I would like to say, I have been in part of the shoes you walked in. My middle child was born 2 months premature, 4lbs 9oz, she had severe breathing problems, but with God's blessing she is still with us today. There is not a day that doesnt go by for me that I don't think about what could have happened instead. I had almost died on the table having her, I have a blood clotting disorder that caused her to come early. I woke up in the middle of the night with blood rolling down my legs. I freaked and my parents stayed calm about it. My whole reason of telling you my story is so you know the pain, joy, blessing, and sorrow you went through is mearly a blessing from God. I pray for your family, and for your families strength. I am sorry that you did not get more time with her as I did with my daughter but always remember, every second with her was a blessing from God. I love how you had the go to, to put together a video and blog to share with us the wonderful time you had with her. Kayleigh I pray for you everyday now, and I pray you are enjoying your time with God. To you, her parents... Ready God is for REAL.. You will see her again someday, and that book will help you through any tough times. :)

Hello my name is Kerri. I am 21 yrs old and will be 22 in a couple weeks. I have no babies of my own but I have many nieces and nephews that I love as my own, I also worked in daycares for 3 yrs. I love babies and children. and when I was looking at videos on youtube I discovered Kayleigh. I got so excited when I saw that she had made it through all the surgeries. I even was telling my dad her story and he was like see what the love of god can do. I was born early myself, my due date was April 11,1990, my moms water broke Jan 29,1990. She was put in the hospital on bed rest. I finally made my way into the world on Feb 27, 1990. I was 4.13, and they didnt think I would pull through. But anyway I saw that I could see more about Kayleigh on this website so I came to it, when I saw that she past it broke my heart. Im so sorry for your loss. :(

But really, she is up with God and I bet she's getting stories about you guys read to her over and over, and she's sending you letters about how she loves you soooooo much. I think it's amazing that she's safe for eternity, and I know that one day you all can be reunited.

I just watched Kayleigh's story and was expecting the happily ever after ending and was directed to Kayleigh's website. When I found out she didn't make it, I lost it and cried for a good long while. My wife and I had Dakota Johnson still born on August 28th, 2004. Kayleigh, Dakota and all the children throughout all time who have left our presence too soon are all laughing, playing, and loving eternally in Heaven. Don't ever doubt for one moment that we will see them all again when the Lord calls us home. This is not our true home but in Heaven will we be truly home. You both will see Kayleigh again because God promises it. Keep the faith and stay encouraged through your faith and your brother's and sister's in Christ. May the Lord bless you and keep you all the days of your lives.

After randomly typing my name Kayleigh into google I notices this site. What exactly is Kayleigh suffering from? And when I click Facebook I don't get Kayleigh's and there are also no videos. Please I would like to learn more!!
