11/20/08 - 5:37 - Another Episode

Wow, I don't even know what to say right now. I am just in complete and utter shock about what is going on. Kayleigh just had another pulmonary hypertension episode. She was put on the vent again and they boosted up her nitric even more. Several of the neonantologists are by her side and the cardiologist who did her heart surgery is with her as well. Since I can barely move because of my neck, I am here at home with Allyson and Brandon, but Aimee is up there with Kayleigh right now.

Please pray for my little girl!

God Bless,

The Freemans

Adam, I'm sorry your neck is so stiff from all this stress. Your body just had to find a way to deal with it =-( Mine usually gets taken out on my stomach.

Do they still think this is caused by the fortifier?

You have been in my prayers all day. All of you!

Kim

Praying hard for Kayleigh and you and Aimee and the doctors (so they can use their knowledge to figure out how to help Kayleigh). Kayleigh has fought so hard to this point that I am sure she will fight her way through this as well. Just keep in mind that if you and Aimee can make it through all this then Kayleigh's puberty/teenage years should be a breeze :) Take care and know that you all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Kayleigh is in my prayers. I cannot believe this his happened when she was so close to coming home. Maybe it is God's way of saying that she just isn't quite ready to come home yet. But I pray so much that she is able to get better and be able to come home with you soon.
Best Wishes

That is good that her cardiologist is there and hopefully he can make a call on what is happening and the cause of it. Everything seemed so well before she started back on the fortifier. We will all be anxious to hear the next update and we pray that it will be better.

I hope your neck gets better - heating pads and pain medication!

Take care Adam and thanks for keeping us posted. I'm praying for her!

Adam & Aimee,
Have been following your love story for Kaleigh for over 2 months. Found Kaleigh's story through Morgan's story. Morgan's parents posted scripture on 11/19 which I will share with you. "Lord, when doubts fill my mind, when my heart is in turmoil, quiet me and give me renewed hope and cheer." Psalm 94:19
Praying for both of you and Kayleigh. May God bless Kayleigh with His healing hand and may God bless you with comfort and love.

I don't know who you are, but I found your blog through a friend of mine. I can't imagine what you're going through but know that I and tons of others are praying for your little girl and for your family.

God, please be with little Kayleigh and give her the strength, rest and peace she needs to fight what is going on with her. Please guide the doctors to the correct diagnosis so that they can provide the help she needs. Please be with Aimee and Adam and their family during this time. Give them peace and comfort and strength. Let them feel Your loving embrace every day and carry this burden for them and fill them with Your peace. Amen.

Adam, I hope your neck feels better so you can see your precious girl tomorrow. You may need to get a muscle relaxer for it. I'll be praying throughout the night that Miss Kayleigh fights through this quickly.

God Bless,

Adam, I have been following your story for months now. I just have to say I wish my fiancee was as nice as you are. You are truly a unique man to take Aimee with two kids and still be so patient. My blessings to both of you and sweet Kayleigh :). Do not worry Adam, everything happens for a reason. God has a plan for her so do not get upset please. Much love to your whole family. Please let Gods peace come upon you, you are such a strong man.

Continuing to pray for Miss Kayleigh. I cannot imagine the stress this is doing to the two of you. Adam, I am the queen of neck pain due to stress. I normally will use ice rather then heat, and also load up on the Motrin, 4 every 6-8 hours. It will take time, but it will help if you are consistant. Here's hoping for a good night.
