Great story. Thank you so much for allowing others to follow your journey. I know it hasn't been easy. It takes a special parent to have a preemie, and Kayleigh is lucky to have you both. I'm still hoping you get her home soon and that the trach was part of allowing that to happen!!
Y'all did awesome! Loved seeing Kayleigh...so precious.
Goosebumps....
I'm so glad you were able to share your story:)
Wow! They did a wonderful job of covering Kayleigh's story! She is such a motivation to so many people. I know I have a stronger appreciation for the many gifts God has given me, especially my children. Hopefully this is only the first of many tv stories to come! Hang in there Kayleigh! We love you!
Loved the video - you all look great - Kayleigh looks fantastic - so glad that you got some media coverage - hope this is the start of more coverage - I am going to email that video clip from the news channel to Ellen, Oprah, Montel and anyone else I can think of!!!

Hey Adam,
I posted this in Kayleigh's group on the facebook page as well, but the video isn't playing on the website. Maybe it's something I'm doing wrong...
I just watched the video and I brought tears to my eyes! You two are wonderful parents! God Bless you and little Kayleigh!
Yep, I guess it's just me on my computer and I can't view it :0( I'll keep trying!
It looks like the news station caught all of your good sides, but besides that, you are a precious family and very blessed. This is what gives this ole' world a reality check into what is most important.
The video was Awesome! We are so happy that you are able to get out there and tell Kayleigh's story, We are praying that the Lord will open more doors for you to tell this wonderful story of what God has and is doing in Kayleigh and Your Family lives.

Adam,
I think they should change the "Arthur Ashe Courage Award" at the ESPY's to the "Kayleigh Freeman Courage Award". She has overcome more than Arthur Ashe or anyone in history has. She truly is a warrior. I know that God is proud of you and Aimee. Kayleigh and you guys have been a blessing to everyone who follows. She is simply AWESOME!!!

Such an amazing story! I live near you all and have been following your story as I am part of the August 2008 babies on Babycenter. She has been able to get this far because of such caring, devoted parents such as yourselves. Kayleigh has made me appreciate all of the little things in life!
It made me cry to put real life faces with you all. I am praying hard for you to get that job Adam. My husband works for Focus on the Family and it has changed our lives! I pray for you all every day! Thanks for sharing your life with us!
Awesome video! I am so thankful to be able to witness the miracle of Kayleigh.

I have been meaning to write long beofore now, I apologize that I haven't. Ya'll are in our daily prayers as well many others here in East Texas. God is good!!!
You're journey is a testament that god works in wondrous ways. It is not the material things that get you through the day but the love of your family. Thank you so much for sharing Kayleigh with us. I pray for her and pray that you get to take her home soon.

"From the brink of financial ruin..." Wow, what a tear jerker. Consider me impressed. Hopefully now the money will start coming in, eh?
Goosebumps. Tears. Awesome.
It was so nice to see the two of you "live" - you are an inspiration to me! I am especially amazed at Aimee's strength, the NICU was the hardest thing I have ever done in my life as a mother.

You and Aimee have such incredible strength and faith. I am amazed each and everyday that I read your blog.
I found your blog this past summer when my daughter was born prematurely (26 weeks). I check in on you guys everyday. I am always so excited to see how Kayleigh is doing and to see the progress she is making. Each night I pray for the Kayleigh's continued healing. I also pray that God would continue to give you and Aimee strength and courage.
Your names and your blog have become a household name in my family. I know we have never met, but my family and friends talk about you all as if we are the best of friends.
I can't even begin to imagine how hard things must be for you guys and how long 7 months is in a hospital. We spent almost four months there and that felt incredibly long. Again, your strength is amazing!
The video was awesome and gave me goosebumps. Those sounds and sights brought back a flood of memories.
Please know that you are all in my constant thoughts and prayers.

Wow! That was awesome! You all look great....that was so cute the way Kayleigh looked up at her Daddy during the video. Love you guys!
Awwww. . . she is beautiful! It was so good to see her on t.v. What a little miracle she is. Thanks for sharing the link with us.
So beautiful! You will be in my prayers.
What a great video. I am so thankful for your story. Kayleigh is so precious-every time I see her beautiful face I have tears in my eyes. She is so perfect and such an amazing little fighter. I pray that her little hands will continue to touch the world for Gods glory!!!
I have been following Kayleigh's story for a little while... somehow it didn't 'click' that she is actually seven months old. I guess her size threw me off. I am so glad she is still with us. The pics with her daddy are so precious. My heart breaks when I hear of people having to chose between health care and a house. Her fight has been going on for so long and you have obviously needed to be there as parents. Just to let you know, I will continue to pray not only for Kayleigh's health and your family but for the financial end of things as well.
thanks for sharing that with us we are still praying and hoping everything that is going on good and bad will work out.
loved the video...so nice to see her "in person"...moving, squirming; she's just so beautiful as is your family! God Bless!
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Kayleigh looks great and is such a sweet doll baby! Hope that the final interview goes as well as the first 3! Checking K's blog is the first thing I do in the morning and last thing I do before going to sleep. My 6yr old and I continue to keep you in our prayers. You continue to be an inspiration and help humble me. He wouldn't bring us to it, if we couldn't get through it
Adam & Aimee:
I started reading your blog about a week or so ago, and I started from the very beginning (I still havent read all posts). Kayleigh is truly an inspiration and the greatest miracle. I know what you guys are going through since I myself had a preemie who was at the NICU for 2 months. I know how frustrating it is when the visits are over and when they are sick, I can relate. Your story has really touched my heart. I am happy that her story is getting out there, simply the fact that there may be parents facing something similar will give them hope. I wish you all the best luck and that she gets to go home soon. Believe me that when that day happens you will probably cry, I did. They were tears of joy. Give Kayleigh a big hug for me, she is adorable!
Erika from Texas
PS - I would love to share my story, maybe when I get some free time I will email you guys, since you guys encourage others to share stories I am guessing I should do it.

That was an AMAZING video.
Awesome video!
You guys did a GREAT job! It was sooo great to see Kayleigh, and she looked great! My heart goes out to you, and I hope everything falls into place for you and your family. I hope you got the help you needed to stop paying that $1000 for insurance! There is help out there for that, and I hope you found it, and can save your home!
I also wanted to share with you an email I sent to my friend yesterday, telling her how emotional I am since I became a mom:
I cried all the way home yesterday because I follow these stories of two very sick little babies and I go home and kiss & hug my girls extra tight because I am thankful they are healthy. I couldn't imagine going through what these two moms go through. I just couldn't even begin to imagine what it's like. :o( I kind of look at me reading these stories and something more than torturing myself because all I do is cry! It makes me thank god everyday...it makes me love my babies more everyday....it makes me give them extra kisses on top of the million kisses they already get....it makes me nuzzle their neck and whisper I love you a million times more than I already do. It's not all just tears, those babies gave me a different look on life. It actually made me want to start going to church again because I have a ton to thank god for.
So I want to thank YOU for giving ME back my faith through your journey. Thank you for making me be a better mom. Keep up the great work as parents...you are both so amazing.
What an amazing story. It brings tears to my eyes. You guys are truely blessed with one amazing little girl. Praying for you every day. Stay stong. God loves you!
