Great story. Thank you so much for allowing others to follow your journey. I know it hasn't been easy. It takes a special parent to have a preemie, and Kayleigh is lucky to have you both. I'm still hoping you get her home soon and that the trach was part of allowing that to happen!!

I think they should change the "Arthur Ashe Courage Award" at the ESPY's to the "Kayleigh Freeman Courage Award". She has overcome more than Arthur Ashe or anyone in history has. She truly is a warrior. I know that God is proud of you and Aimee. Kayleigh and you guys have been a blessing to everyone who follows. She is simply AWESOME!!!

You and Aimee have such incredible strength and faith. I am amazed each and everyday that I read your blog.

I found your blog this past summer when my daughter was born prematurely (26 weeks). I check in on you guys everyday. I am always so excited to see how Kayleigh is doing and to see the progress she is making. Each night I pray for the Kayleigh's continued healing. I also pray that God would continue to give you and Aimee strength and courage.

Your names and your blog have become a household name in my family. I know we have never met, but my family and friends talk about you all as if we are the best of friends.

I can't even begin to imagine how hard things must be for you guys and how long 7 months is in a hospital. We spent almost four months there and that felt incredibly long. Again, your strength is amazing!

The video was awesome and gave me goosebumps. Those sounds and sights brought back a flood of memories.

Please know that you are all in my constant thoughts and prayers.

I have been following Kayleigh's story for a little while... somehow it didn't 'click' that she is actually seven months old. I guess her size threw me off. I am so glad she is still with us. The pics with her daddy are so precious. My heart breaks when I hear of people having to chose between health care and a house. Her fight has been going on for so long and you have obviously needed to be there as parents. Just to let you know, I will continue to pray not only for Kayleigh's health and your family but for the financial end of things as well.

Adam & Aimee:
I started reading your blog about a week or so ago, and I started from the very beginning (I still havent read all posts). Kayleigh is truly an inspiration and the greatest miracle. I know what you guys are going through since I myself had a preemie who was at the NICU for 2 months. I know how frustrating it is when the visits are over and when they are sick, I can relate. Your story has really touched my heart. I am happy that her story is getting out there, simply the fact that there may be parents facing something similar will give them hope. I wish you all the best luck and that she gets to go home soon. Believe me that when that day happens you will probably cry, I did. They were tears of joy. Give Kayleigh a big hug for me, she is adorable!

Erika from Texas

PS - I would love to share my story, maybe when I get some free time I will email you guys, since you guys encourage others to share stories I am guessing I should do it.

You guys did a GREAT job! It was sooo great to see Kayleigh, and she looked great! My heart goes out to you, and I hope everything falls into place for you and your family. I hope you got the help you needed to stop paying that $1000 for insurance! There is help out there for that, and I hope you found it, and can save your home!

I also wanted to share with you an email I sent to my friend yesterday, telling her how emotional I am since I became a mom:

I cried all the way home yesterday because I follow these stories of two very sick little babies and I go home and kiss & hug my girls extra tight because I am thankful they are healthy. I couldn't imagine going through what these two moms go through. I just couldn't even begin to imagine what it's like. :o( I kind of look at me reading these stories and something more than torturing myself because all I do is cry! It makes me thank god everyday...it makes me love my babies more everyday....it makes me give them extra kisses on top of the million kisses they already get....it makes me nuzzle their neck and whisper I love you a million times more than I already do. It's not all just tears, those babies gave me a different look on life. It actually made me want to start going to church again because I have a ton to thank god for.

So I want to thank YOU for giving ME back my faith through your journey. Thank you for making me be a better mom. Keep up the great work as parents...you are both so amazing.
