But you have been blessed with a beautiful baby girl who is loved deeply not just by her family but by so many people. My heart hurts for you guys, but pray that you will find strength for Kayleigh. Sweet dreams precious Kayleigh.

Kayleigh is so beautiful and at such peace. Our family faced a decision a few months ago when we had to decide on organ donation. As it turned out, only my dad's corneas could be used due to so much organ damage over the years. It was very difficult answering all of the donation teams questions but a month later, we found out that his corneas had been used for someone elses sight. I am a huge fan of donation especially now because I know that my dad lives on in someone elses eyes.
It is a very difficult decision as to whether to donate or to take her home. Maybe with all of the prayers lifted up on her behalf, this decision will become a moot point. Is taking her home also the best for Allyson and Brandon?

She is a true angel. You have a precious gift from God. My boyfriend and I pray for you and your family as you journey through these hard times. I hope that if God will not make her better that he give you and your family that precious time to spend together. I beleive she feels you when you talk to her. She wills always feel the love that everyone had for her especially her Mommy and Daddy. There is nothing more pure then the love you have for your own children. Tonight I will hold my 6 month old son Riley extra tight and say a prayer for your family. We are only on this earth for a season. You will soon be with her eternally. Until that day hold her in your heart and in your arms. God bless you and may God watch over and protect your precious family. We are from Wyoming, MN.

Our whole church was praying for you guys today. My heart goes out for you guys and I'm praying for a miracle. I don't really know how to ask this, so don't feel like you need to answer it. If Kayleigh's brain is showing nothing but a flat line, how is her heart beating? She isn't on a machine for her heart is she? Doesn't the brain make the heart work? I know last night you mentioned that she was crying out...crying isn't an involuntary action is it? I can't help but search for some hope. You guys are in my head all day long. Praying for God's will more than anything else and wisdom for you guys as you make decisions for the future.

Thank you for sharing her with us for the past 10 months. She is the first page I check when I log on in the morning, and the last when I log out. I stumbled upon your blog in the wee hours this morning. I woke from a sound sleep and found your dear one -- God called me to pray and showed me the way to your sweet, sweet Kayleigh. And so I have . . . without ceasing . . . without dry eyes or full understanding . . . but with a zeal for prayer that can only be prompted by the Holy Spirit.

My son battled cerebral palsy and breathing difficulties for nearly 16 years. Hospitals became our home now and again, but mostly he lived at home with his family around. Such joyous times amidst the pain and suffering.

One day we awoke to find he had flown with the angels to the arms of Jesus (nearly five years ago, now). I pray you can take Kaleigh home to be with her family. (When the time is right, Jesus can find her in her own crib just as easily as a hospital bed.)

May God bless you as you share in this marvelous and wonderful and heart-wrneching experience of loving and caring for a special one of the Lord's babies. All children are special . . .some just require special care.

I shall continue to pray . . .

Your precious Kaleigh has blessed me with her spunk and her parents' love shines brightly in a world that forgets to see the beauty of a single breath in a single moment by a beautiful baby.

Dear Father . . . hold them tightly as you carry them through this. I have sat in their place under your wing . . . I know . . .

Much love ~~ Debbie

I am so sorry that Kayleigh's condition hasn't changed. It breaks my heart that this has happened! I am thankful though, thankful that all those months ago on babycenter I "met" Aimee and your family for the first time. But mostly because your journey has brought me back to faith! Kayleigh's life here on earth had a greater purpose and God had a plan! Look at what she has accomplished in her 10 months on earth! I fully believe she will be touching lives for many years to come!
I really do hope you get to bring her home and have family time with her. She is a special little girl that will always be in my heart and the heart of many other. May God wrap his arms around your family right now and give you the strength you need to get through this trying time.
My son Alex will be waiting for her when the Lord calls her by name!

We had a sweet baby boy named Maverick that we lost 2 months ago. He had a heart problem and remained hospitalized all his five months of life. We miss him dearly, but know he is in heaven waiting for us. I'm praying for your family in the upcoming days. I know the difficulty you are facing. God bless.

Having just brought my own daughter home from the NICU, I hope that despite everything you are able to finally bring your daughter home even if only for a short time. She deserves to come home. I know how hard it is to watch our baby's daily struggles in the NICU and you guys are in my prayers. Soli and I pray for little Kayleigh everyday.

Hi family! Just wanted you to know that the entire family has been in my thoughts and prayers. The entire extended family is praying for you all. I passed along your website to some women I work with and hopefully they have checked out your story and have begun to start praying! I am still praying for a miracle! I know He can do it! One time I prayed with such faith for mom that she would be healed and it happened. The doc took a follow up xray of her foot that had been really infected to the point they were considering amputation and I believe with all my heart it was God who healed her because her xray came back showing no signs of infection or damage. I have cried and prayed that the Lord will grant Kayleigh the dream of growing up and playing with Brandon and Allyson, making her parents proud, going to prom, etc. I tuly hope it is in His will to perform a miracle and let all these things come to light! Love you all!

Kayleigh is so beautiful;how sweet and peaceful she looks. Thank you for sharing these pictures. I am amazed that you stop to think of others in your time of pain and sorrow; it shows your faith and love for Kayleigh and the Lord. There are so many people Kayleigh has touched so many. I shared her story yesterday with one of my grandsons (6) who was a premiee and he was so amazed at how small she was at birth and how your ring Adam was on her little arm and still to big. He is praying for her as I am. You and your family are on my mind all the time. I pray you get to take her home and spend that special time with her and the other children. I am praying for a miracle because I am a true beleiver in God's wonderful power, but only He knows what His plans are.

So perfect, so precious, so Kayleigh. God's marvelous design!! The pictures are so gorgeous that it is heartbreaking. And for you to share her with us at a time like this is so humbling. I pray every day for God to work a wonderful miracle and if it isn't to be so, for Kayleigh to go home to be with her family. So often this weekend I had to step back and watch my daughter and wonder how I got so lucky. When i really think about it, I would never have the strength to go through what you are going through, and no one else could tell us Kayleigh's story like you have. You were definitly picked by God for many special reasons. I pray that he is with you, Aimee, Brandon, and Allyson, comforting you every day, and that he is holding Kayleigh and working on her next miracle for all of us to see. I will never give up on hope for Sweet Kayleigh, and I will never stop praying for you and your family.

As a parent, how do you make such a hard decision- but as a Christian, you make it with faith, with hope and with the promise that goodbye is not for long- it is only time that separates us from being together again. I pray for your peace, for your strenght and for your continued love of Christ and what he can do. Kayleigh is oh so precious and she will never be forgotten by anyone who has been touched by her story. I know I have been. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing this precious gift with the world to see. She is amazing. May God lead, guide and direct you and may his love show through you during this during this difficult time and may his love sustain you.

Oh, Kayleigh you are so beautiful. We LOVE YOU so VERY much. You are in our prayers. You already look like an angel as you always have, if you go home to be with Our Heavenly Father, please know that we have always loved you and we Always will. You are such an inspiration to so many people, and through your story God has touched so MANY lives. Please be at peace and show mommy and daddy how much you love them. If you go to heaven find Michaela and give her a big hug for me, she is waiting for you if you have to leave us. My father George is also up there and he loves babies, I am 2nd oldest of 10, and I know he would have had many more kids if he could have. He will help you too if you go home with Jesus. I will LOVE YOU FOREVER.

Dear Freemans-

I can only echo what everyone before me has said. Kayleigh is incredibly beautiful and I don't think that you can truly understand how deeply she has touched so many people. I don't consider myself a religious person, but I am so inspired by your positivity and your outlook on this entire situation. I find myself checking Kayleigh's site lately a million times a day.... and it never ceases to amaze me that you find the time to share any information that you have with "us".... Kayleigh's online "family". Thank you for that.....and for allowing us to be a part of this wonderful baby's life. She has TRULY touched me. I will continue to hope for the best and to keep her in my thoughts.....may you and Aimee continue to have the strength to continue your message of courage and love and of spirituality.

I have been following your story for a long time. My son was born in June also and was in the NICU, it was the longest and worst days of my life. The amazing strength you have shown through this time is remarkable and such an inspiration to so many. Your baby girl is beautiful and perfect in so many ways.
May you continue to find the strength and love in the coming days. My heart breaks for you...

What a sweet, sweet girl. These pictures of your little angel are gorgeous.

I have followed Kayleigh's story on and off since the beginning. When I checked for an update the other day, I was shocked and completely saddened by the sudden turn of events. Thoughts of Kayleigh and your family have not left my mind. I don't consider myself an overly-religious person, but I have been called to pray for sweet Kayleigh numerous times daily. I am praying for a miracle for your little girl. Your strength and courage during this time is remarkable.

Please hold Kayleigh close and shower her with all your love. She has been a true inspiration to us all over these last 10 months.

Still praying for a miracle...

Very tender.

I know that you are facing the very real likelihood that you won't have many opportunities to take photos of your precious Kayleigh. I would guess someone's already mentioned it, but I am forever grateful for our photographer who came to take pictures of Bridget before she died. She is a Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep photographer. I hope that if the time comes that Kayleigh is to leave here for paradise that you will have the opportunity for NILMDTS to come take photos of your precious daughter and your family together. Oh how I am rejoicing in God's ultimate plan, but my heart breaks for the pain, we as earthen vessels must endure before He comes again.
I have micro-preemie twins. Born two days apart at 23 5/7 weeks & 24 weeks, Grace & Faith. We faced almost all of the same surgeries and of course the NICU rollercoaster for 5 months.
There is something about having an extremely premature birth that connects you with many other parents going through similar events.
We have been praying endlessly. You have literally been the last blog I check before bed and the first in the morning.
Hang on Jesus. His love is greater than anything we can humanly understand.
May God fill you with His everlasting peace and comfort.
