Oh no. I just read the blog after not having seen it for about a week. I saw your updates right after surgery and felt that Kayleigh was doing well. I'm in utter shock and disbelief that this is happening to her. I have nothing to say that will ease your pain and suffering, but I do hope you know that I am praying for Kayleigh...that God does what is BEST for Kayleigh at this point. Whatever He decides is what is meant to be. Kayleigh is an amazing little girl and she looks absolutely precious in that dress. My baby girl who is now almost 9 months old has the exact same outfit, and I promise to tell her to wear it with pride and we will think about Kayleigh every time she wears it. I hate to admit this, but these pictures make me angry. How could something so perfect and so precious be taken from you!! You have been through so much with her, and now she lies still. My heart just aches for you, it is just so unfair. As I was frustrated with my daughter not falling asleep last night, I thought of you holding onto Kayleigh and willing her to live and praying she would stay awake. Was that a wake up call. I will try my hardest to never take my daughter for granted, in Kayleigh's honor. I've looked back at some of the pictures over the last couple weeks. How wonderful that she got to wear her I Love Daddy outfit. And that you were given the time to spend with her laughing and showing you how much she does love you. I hope you can take her home soon, although I'm not giving up on a miracle, and you can read her the stories about how she has touched us all. We love you Sweet Kayleigh!!

Why after all you have been through is she lying still. i can't make any sense out of it. As I was frustrated last night because my daughter wouldn't go to sleep, my thoughts immediately turned to you and Aimee, standing over Kayleigh, willing her to live, praying she would wake up and be whole again. I promise to try my best not to take my daughter for granted in honor of Kayleigh. It really made me open my eyes last night. I've been looking back over the pictures and posts of the last few weeks. What a blessing to have the pictures of Kayleigh in her I Love Daddy outfit, and to have had those happy moments with her. Thank God she had been feeling so well so you could share your love and joy with each other. I am continuing to pray for a miracle and will never stop. If not, i do hope you get to take her home, and i hope you get to read her to sleep with the stories of how she has touched us all. You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers.

We've never met...I just stumbled upon your blog a few weeks back and have since visited daily to check in on your sweet baby girl and have been praying diligently for her and you. She is so precious, our little girl was born in June as well and my heart is so heavy for you...I look at my little peanut and hold her a little tighter...you are teaching all of us as parents to be better parents...and to hold our children closer. I just can't imagine the ache in your hearts ~ I am praying that if it be God's will that He would place His healing hands upon your little girl. I can't tell you how beautiful she looks in the new pictures. She looks so peaceful and I can only hope she is more comfortable today. I hope to never be in your shoes Aimee and Adam. But if by chance I one day am, I can only hope to be a fraction as strong as you both have been. I will never take for granted every single day I have with my daughter, Kaylee Nicole. I want you both to know that my husband and I have started re-connecting with our old church and I contribute the majority of our new commitment to Kayleigh's story. You helped me re-evaluate what is important in life and you also helped me realize that if I want the best future possible for my Kaylee, then God needs to be first. Not me, not my husband, and not my daughter. I would not have her without God, so we needed to turn back to him.
Thank you for giving me hope, even in the midst of your unfortunate last week. God is building huge and beautiful mansions for Kayleigh and you. When you all are in Heaven, you will realize how much you impacted the world because your mansions will be breathtakingly beautiful. Kayleigh and your family have blessed more people in the last 10 months than most people do in their entire lives. Thank you for that gift.

I hate to admit this, but these pictures make me angry. How could something so perfect and so precious be taken from you!! You have been through so much with her, and now she lies still. My heart just aches for you, it is just so unfair. As I was frustrated with my daughter not falling asleep last night, I thought of you holding onto Kayleigh and willing her to live and praying she would stay awake. Was that a wake up call. I will try my hardest to never take my daughter for granted, in Kayleigh's honor. I've looked back at some of the pictures over the last couple weeks. How wonderful that she got to wear her I Love Daddy outfit. And that you were given the time to spend with her laughing and showing you how much she does love you. I hope you can take her home soon, although I'm not giving up on a miracle, and you can read her the stories about how she has touched us all. We love you Sweet Kayleigh!!

Why after all you have been through is she lying still. i can't make any sense out of it. As I was frustrated last night because my daughter wouldn't go to sleep, my thoughts immediately turned to you and Aimee, standing over Kayleigh, willing her to live, praying she would wake up and be whole again. I promise to try my best not to take my daughter for granted in honor of Kayleigh. It really made me open my eyes last night. I've been looking back over the pictures and posts of the last few weeks. What a blessing to have the pictures of Kayleigh in her I Love Daddy outfit, and to have had those happy moments with her. Thank God she had been feeling so well so you could share your love and joy with each other. I am continuing to pray for a miracle and will never stop. If not, i do hope you get to take her home, and i hope you get to read her to sleep with the stories of how she has touched us all. You are constantly in my thoughts and prayers.

We've never met...I just stumbled upon your blog a few weeks back and have since visited daily to check in on your sweet baby girl and have been praying diligently for her and you. She is so precious, our little girl was born in June as well and my heart is so heavy for you...I look at my little peanut and hold her a little tighter...you are teaching all of us as parents to be better parents...and to hold our children closer. I just can't imagine the ache in your hearts ~ I am praying that if it be God's will that He would place His healing hands upon your little girl.
