i've been following for a while since finding your blog on kellys korner...im so sorry to hear about your precious little girl... :( i know this day was probably bittersweet but i hope it was as well as could be expected for you guys! love the photo of kayleigh and mama today :)

p.s. i dont want to be negative but i do have to say that IMO notttt 'every mom' should be praised and that every mom is a miracle...not only those crazy moms out there who abuse their children, etc, but also some other moms that i know that are, let's say, SURELY less than average parents....(and that's stating it POLITELY!) i know its your blog and your opinion, but really not EVERY mom should be praised...it should be the good moms like kayleigh's mom, for example (cant remember your wifes name!) just thought i'd throw in my 2 cents of unsolicited advice here lol. happy mother's day to your wife again! :)

You and your family our in my thoughts and prayers on this day and everday. I pray that your daughter will recieve a miracle from our all mighty lord and creator and that she gets better. I pray that the swelling goes down and that God gives you all the strength you need to help you endure such a heartwrenching situation as you wait for your miracle princess to pull through. And I pray that if he has chosen for this to be her time to go that he gives you the strength nesscarry to do so.

Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. I celebrated my first mother's day today and it was wonderful. I have to admit I have been a "lurker" for sometime now. I want to let you know that I continue to be moved by your faith in the power of prayer.

I am currently reading Stormie Omartian's book "The power of a praying parent"

Prayer is amazing isn't it?

While my child does not struggle with the physical and medical battle that Kayleigh has faced as he grows he will face an earthly battle and a battle against the strength of the evil in this world.

Daily prayer for our children is the only thing that will save them from darkness. The bible says that anything that is asked in Jesus name will be granted. I am just learning to be a strong faithful prayer. As I pray for my own newborn son each day I pray for Kayleigh and ask that God's will be done in Jesus name.

Sending prayer in the Name of Jesus from Phoenix AZ.

Robyn :)

Happy Mother's Day to you Aimee!! It is your first as Kayleigh's Mommy and what an honor that God chose you for that job!! Your daughter's journey has touched my whole family and we lift you up to our Saviour each day. My husband and I have two daughters that are 2.5 and 6 months. We have been teaching the oldest to say bedtime prayers and have had her pray for Kayleigh too. God's word says that the prayers of the righteous availeth much, so I know that all the prayers for your sweet angel will not be in vain. God bless you on this special day and we pray God's healing for Kayleigh.

Thinking of you and your family. Praying for good news. It looks like that photo of Aimee and Kayleigh was taken some time ago. If it is actually recent it looks like Kayleigh is alert which would be a huge blessing! But looking at the photos in the post below she looks much smaller in this picture.

Anyway - sorry to go on about that I am just so hopeful Kayleigh is getting better and you are closer to bringing her home. I am praying so hard for you all tonight and everynight. Sweet little Kayleigh is in my heart.

God Bless you.
