7/14/09 - Butterfly Kisses :)

It doesn't matter whether I find the right words to say or not, as this photo just speaks straight from the heart.

Without a doubt, Kayleigh spent 30 minutes on Aimee before she made her way to me and my nose. What a blessing this was and how it made our weekend so beautiful.

"We love you sweet Kayleigh and we miss you SO very much!"

God Bless,

Awww, that brought tears to my eyes...kisses from Heaven for daddy!

I know it's not the same as having her here to kiss your nose but that is pretty dang close if you ask me.

I hope your days continue to be filled with butterfly love from up above!

Praise God for sending us signs from heaven above....what an amazing moment for the two of you! Butterflies have always been so symbolic in our family and this just solidifies why!

Simply Amazing! That is so awesome. I dont have anything to compare as losing your little Kayliegh but I did lose 4 pregnancies and I had a tattoo done after I lost the first one and it was a butterfly with baby feet in its wings because I feel like my babies flew up to heaven on butterfly wings. Ok that might sound weird, but anyways. I love butterflies too and everytime I see them I think of my babies I lost and now yours too.

Erin said...

A butterfly is the ultimate sign of freedom....and I said the same thing about my brother when he passed....a soul set free to fly!

When my baby niece went to heaven, a huge yellow butterfly danced all through the crowd during her graveside funeral. It would land on her casket then flutter towards the sky. It stayed with us the entire time. Now, every time we see one, we think of her.

Beautiful.

I love how Kayleigh is letting you know that she is ok.

About two weeks ago a sweet little blue butterfly kept landing on me and my mind immediately went to Kayleigh. What an impact that little girl had in her brief life.

One of my 2 baby girls who are in heaven was also born weighing one pound, and was also 10 1/2 inches long. Looking at the picture of your Kayleigh's hand reminds me of my little girl's hand...
After her death she came to me in a dream, dressed in a pale yellow and black dress with little pale yellow shoes. I can still picture her smiling face and wispy blond hair. She laughed as we played, and I kept asking her, "Are you my little Bumblebee?"
As I spend time outside with my little boy, those fuzzy bumblebees with the pale yellow middles often pass by, some stay and hover for a while. I know that her spirit is somehow out there with us, playing in the yard that was meant to be shared with her and their sister, and I feel peace, even if just for a moment, despite my grief.
God Bless Kayleigh, and all the angel babies.
