5/2/09 - Thank You!

There are no new updates with Kayleigh today. She has been sleeping peacefully most of the day. God Bless you sweet girl.

Aimee, I do want to thank you for being my rock through this and comforting me when I need to let the tears flow. I couldn't be more blessed to have such a wonderful woman in my life. You are my everything and just know that we are going to get through this together. I love you so very much!

Such a beautiful couple which extends way deeper than the obvious physical beauty. The two of you brought an amazing little girl into this world. Kayleigh has certainly made an impact on my life from the first day I began reading her blog. She will always have a special place in my heart.

Dear The Freemans,

I do not know you personally, but feel like I have gotten to know you in just the few weeks I have been following your blog. I pray for your family often and was lead by the Holy Spirit to give to your family as well. I wanted to share a blog with you that may or may not help. but I hope it can at least give you a glimpse of hope. It is the story of a baby who is a true warrior of God. He too was born premature and is now one year old and surpassed all the prognoses of the doctors. The blog link is http://ourlittlewarriorlucas.blogspot.com/
I pray that whatever path God has laid out for Kayleigh's precious life, that your family finds peace and confort in his arms. Your faith tells me that you will!

I'm happy that you two have stood together so well through this long journey. You've both had turns being "the rock" for one another. God knew you would need each other. I'd imagine that there is nobody on earth who has the calming effect on either of you besides the other one.

I'm going to continue to pray for a miracle.

Praise God! This morning I am thanking Him for the hope, strength, faith, and love He has given to both of you and to Kayleigh. May you continue to serve one another as Christ teaches. Adam and Aimee, thank you for allowing us to see your love through all of this. It is such a picture of God to see, hear, and feel all of this beauty in the broken. Please know the He is being shown to the world through your family right now. It is very beautiful. Our continued prayers are with you, Freemans.

I am glad she is resting well, this makes me feel good. I have been praying so hard. I was on my way home from work yesterday and felt like I was to pray in the car for Kayleigh. I jsut started praying outloud and sobbing my heart out to the Lord. I told him I didn't understand why this was happening and how I could only imagene what you both are going through. I prayed for him to reach down and be merciful on sweet Kayleigh and let his will be done (hopefully a miracle) and to comfort you two and the two kids like only he can and give you the strength to get through this all. You both are so strong for one another and I admire that so much. I even think you both hold up better than I do at times and Kayleigh is yall's daughter . :) We are continuing to pray non stop and we love you all so very much. Thanks for letting us continue on this journey with you no matter how tough times get. Hope you both have a good day.

Such a beautiful little girl and such a beautiful family for her. I think at this point that any child would be proud to have you as their parents, no matter the situation, as you have proven your love and strength beyond what any parent should have to prove. I think the good thing is that if and when she passes, she will go without pain or anguish, without worry or regret or confusion. She will not be rethinking her life, wondering if she had done all she could, wondering if she could have done more or should have tried harder. There will not be the confusion that most adults feel, for she knows where she's going (if she isn't there already) and has no fears, no concerns. For her there will be no pain, no regrets! She knows already that she has surpassed her purpose and I have no doubt that she is so very proud to say that she has the two of you to guide her through her life. Now, in her remaining time, she finally gets to relax and go at her own pace, able to be called home whenever she feels it's time. She gets to sleep, and to know she's loved and that she has fulfilled her purpose - she has knowledge far beyond what some of us are granted in our short lifetimes, and she has taught your family a great number of things!

As always, you are all in my thoughts, and like many, I am still hopeful for a miracle.

Thinking about your last post overnight, I want to encourage you both to pray with faith for all that you want but to hold on to nothing. This is the tricky part. To not hold on. This world is passing and true freedom is for Jesus to be our all and all. So pray for healing, pray to bring your beautiful girl home, so many of us are praying with you. But do not hold on to the "if only" if only one more day, one trip home, hold only to Him. The rest is a burden to heavy to carry. God bless your family.

They're being selfish about how THEY want Kayleigh to die with the when/how/where specifics. If they truly want God's Will, they'd have let her poor body rest already. But then again they're using their daughter for financial gain so what should we expect from them anyway?

If you are so bothered by what they spend their money on and on their decisions they make when dealing with their beautiful daughter...then why do you get on here??? Quit judging people and pick on someone else...I have never understood why someone has to make other people feel so bad...do you not think they are going through enough?
